Limited Edition Art Reproductions
We have three paintings available as reprints at this time. Giclée printing provides for the highest quality fine art graphics with rich colors in the tradition of original stone lithography. These archival prints are printed on premium acid-free paper, using inks rated to remain colorfast for over one hundred years. Each artist receives a royalty for each print sold. These are the first 3 Limited Edition reproductions. We expect to add between 3 and 6 original paintings each year. Each edition is limited to 750 prints, and is signed, numbered and accompanied with an information sheet.
El Viejo del Monte

Living in Solentiname, Rodolfo Arellano is from the first generation of painters. His subjects are the most diverse and he is painting the surrounding landscapes as well as legends of his childhood, scenes of daily life, nativities, and still life's. He was born in 1939 and has been painting since 1968.
Together with his wife Elba Jimenez, also a first generation painter, they have founded a family studio with four generations of painters working together. His work has been exhibited in Europe, Japan and the United States.
The legend of El Vijo del Monte (the old man of the forest) is one of the archipelago’s most enduring folktales. No one is exactly sure of when the tale originated, but it has been told and passed on for at least seven generations. The moral of the legend is simple -- Don’t mess with mother nature.

Jeyssell Madrigal Arellano is a third generation painter, granddaughter of the Arellano studio. She was born in 1985 and has been painting since 1999. Jeyssell shows the freshness and daring of her youth in her work. She is inspired by the islands, and can find in her work he r taste for detail.

Living in Solentiname. Silvia Arellano Jimenez is one of the second generation of the Arellano studio. Silvia shows us her mystical and poetic universe with a distinguishable palette full of vigorous colors. She was born in 1968 and has been painting since 1986.
